  • It's first service!

Well then, six months in and I've booked me DS3 in for it's first service. Had to book a 'manufacturer service' however as that would keep the warranty intact. Was initially offered other ones as well, levels 1-3 services but was told that the manu one was the same as the level 3.

Ach well, £200 a pop for it and that'll be twice a year with the mileage I do. That'll be sore on the wallet.

Anyone had their's in yet for a service? Or even better, anyone know (who's on the inside) what the manufacturer service actually includes?

Not sure when mine is due, think 10k miles or something? I got the service pack for £199. Think thats 3 years or 35k miles, which ever comes first.

Sounds like your clocking up some seroius mileage!

In regards to your warranty, I take you opted for the two year warranty rather than the mileage limited 3 year version?

Also just to let you know that your don't have to return to a Citroen dealership for the service, as long as the vehicle is serviced according to the guidlines you will be fine. But for re-sale value I would suggest having the proper stamps in your service book.

The operations specified at a service, & the required service intervals, are detailed in your Maintenance & Warranty Guide.

So when do I need to take mine in for its first service? I've racked up 7k already.

Yeah, I've got the diesel and it's 12,500 miles that it needs a manufacturers service apparently. Regarding mileage, I do round about 600 miles a week give or take, hence opting for the diesel.

I'll have a look at that Dave cheers, also in regards to Citroen doing it, agreed, the dealer stamp is preferred in my opinion, keeps everything extra legit.
