I had to replace my front left on the weekend. £125 from Kwik Fit.
Seems to look simular to the bridgestone's. Can't really tell the difference between the two when driving.
Tyre is a tyre to me really.

I have noticed that since I switched from Michelin Energy Savers to Bridgestone my MPG has suffered.

With the same driving style over a long period it has gone from 59 mpg to 55 mpg. Not a lot but significant and consistent.

What pressure do you keep in your summer/winter tyres? The tyre shop guy said that on the summer potenzas, 3 bar is standard. Citroen recommends 2.4 bar on both summer and winter tyres but obviously that's too low.

                    I go with Citroen's recommendations.
Surely they are well thought out?

With low profile tyres under 2.5 bar is too low. The car just handles so much better. And I trust the tyre professionals over Citroen

Have we moved from "the tyre shop guy" to "tyre professionals"?

My experience of tyre shop guys in the UK is such that I wouldn't trust most of them with a spent match!

Just a point of note guys that there is a difference between 'Winter' and 'Snow' tyres, for most parts folks tend to only need 'Winter' tyres and they are well worth the investment. Best advice would be to shell out for a couple of steels for the Winter tyres to go onto and just swap when the weather changes.

                          Need more convincing?

Look at it this way, would you go walking out in the snow while wearing sandals?
