  • SOS button and Service Help button

    Hi All,

    I received my new DS3 yesterday and arrived to find the dealership crowed around it trying to work out if the buttons were live or not. Eventually one pressed it and the car called France and he spoke to a French operator! I didnt even order it as a option...but my question is, looking on the C4 specs this system is eTouch and should link in with the MyCitroen webiste to provide me MPG and driving optimisation suggestions etc etc but I cant see it and NOONE in citroen seems to have a Clue....any ideas?

    Have you logged on the MyCitroen via Citroen.co.uk?

    The E-touch system has a GPS/GSM unit built in which will dial the emergency services if;

    A - you dial by holding down the SOS button
    B - If your Airbags are deployed

    The people it dials will depend on where you are, the system is run for free by Citroen but bear in mind that you can be fined if you dial the 999 with out proper cause.

    The Citroen button dials the Citroen Breakdown people and like the SOS will give out your GPS location.

      Cheers for the info.

      Yep signed onto the MyCitroen site and it doesnt show anything along those lines so I will assume it is a version of Etouch that doesnt include that functionality...shame

        Have you added your car in the My profile section, once done then go to My dashboard and your car will be shown will service interals etc.

        By the way anyone with a Citroen can log on to MyCitroen website - it's not just for eTouch

            Go to www.citroen.co.uk/mycitroen and then click on the red button over on the right side of the screen

              Bizarre! No button on the left side of the screen & no scroll bar at the bottom of the screen. However, middle-clocking on the word "Citroen" under the Citroen logo scrolled the screen to the left revealing the "create my account" button directly below "My Citroen" at the right hand side of the screen . . . "help" says it should be just above "help"!

              Maybe they haven't tested their website with Firefox?
