  • Windscreen Washer Jets

Hi guys , can anyone tell me these can be adjusted for better coverage, cheers

  • #2
Not as far as I'm aware there is no adjustment for the spray, bear in mind that the jets are designed to work efficiently at 60mph rather than standing or low speeds.

Wouldn't be the first time a customer has moved the jets to spray higher on the drive and then when driving on the motorway complain that the water goes over the roof!

I've used a pin to adjust the washer jet nozzle in previous cars, not had any issues with my DS3 washers so not sure it's possible to do the same.

I have found from previous experience that once I tried adjusting them I could never get them right again......but that's just me

They're not, They're quite loose in fact.

Open your bonnet, pull the hoses off and they'll come right out. I'm sure you can buy different heads on ebay etc - just make sure the hose connector is the same size.

Think ive found the problem, ? only half the jet working so all the force coming from one half of the noxzzle sending it over the roof lol, might be blocked with a bit of dirt ? ill try getting it off and blowing it through,

Or gently insert a pin into the head of the nozzle to see if that clears it

I have better luck using the hoover than a pin....

I know it sounds weird but it worked for me in the past!

Isn't it just the other way around? If you adjust them to spray a bit higher when standing still then on the motorway the wind pushes the spray lower. At least with my cars
