Trip and mpg computer display

Right, firstly i hope I make sense here.

When I press the mode button to get this screen


I can't seem to change it from the tab labeled as "1" and I believe this gives another trip details and I would like to change it to the current info tab at the top.

I have consulted the manual and it describes going into main menu and selecting the trip computer menu. As in the next picture


However I don't seem to have this option, instead I have this.....


Any suggestions? It's driving me nuts

Button on the end of the right stalk switches between trip 1, trip 2 and live info.

Yeah that's what the manual days bit mine doesn't. It scrolls through functions, radio, usb, aux input and phone.

I think you're pressing the wrong button. It's the end of the wash/wiper stalk, number 3 in this pic:



I think you're pressing the source button on the audio controls (number 1 in the pic).

When you press the mode button what you are doing is changing the primary display from trip, phone, radio. Use the button on the end of the wiper stalk to change the information bank on the trip display. This will appear regardless of what primary display is selected.

Yes, and the lower stalk switches from radio to aux input (marked 1 on the picture).

From memory, to get from 'Diagnosis':


To 'Personalisation-Configuration':


Use left and right on the radio to navigate, OK to go forward, Esc to go back.

Hope this helps, I'm not near my DS3 at the moment to confirm (re-used your pics for illustration).

I don't remember having a Diagnosis menu on my DS3. More like the one shown in the manual.
