  • No dash lights with headlights on

    Hi,

My ds3 has started doing a weird thing. Whenever the headlights come on the interior dash lights don't light up. Only happens if the stalk is in auto position. Also when starting the car in the dark if the light stalk is on auto I have to switch them off then back to auto for the lights to work.

    Is that last but normal?

You can adjust the brightness of the dash display:

    Maybe this has been changed?

As for the lights not coming on at night, maybe an issue with the sensor? Probably worth getting your dealer to look at it.

Sounds like an issue with the Comm unit to me. Get your dealer to check it.

Yeah I had a look at the dimmer but it doesn't work. It's as if the headlights aren't even on. I've booked it in so we'll see what they come with.

I've noticed my headlights don't always come on when on auto despite it being pitch black!!

Might drop the service manager an email tomorrow. However it is as intermittent as the knock I had!

            Hi Sash

I had that with mine, the service dept took the sensor out, cleaned it and it's been fine ever since

Well hopefully it'll be nice and simple then.
