  • Rear Arch Liners?

    Hi

My partner has a 2009 Citroen DS3 and its still (just) under warranty. Its going in today to look at an issue with the passenger door sounding line she is in an airplane with the amount of woosh that comes through.

The main issue is both rear arch liners have dropped down and left a gap between them and the arch. The rear arches are metal so once the mud starts to get behind them, its a recipe for rust over the years!

Having a look on various forums, it seems to be a common ish issue amongst earlier DS3's and there is mention of an 'info rapid' but the thread seems have had the info removed.

The dealer is trying to wiggle out of it, saying its wear and tear but its clearly not as its happened to lots of people and on both sides of the car.

Does anyone have any Citroen info I can throw back at them?

    Thanks

First of all its funny you should say about the door and the wind noise, mines currently in the workshop as we speak having the same problem repaired.

I'll try do some digging for you to see if we have any information in our workshop and warranty dept on the arch liners.
