  • Removing Fog Light

    Hey peeps,

Does anybody know how to remove the fog light? I tried to apply a tint to it but it's hard as the chrome surrounds get in the way. So now thinking of just changing the bulb. But I have no idea how you remove them. Any advice on this and also what bulb the fogs take would be awesome

    Thanks

    Tommy

Don't hold me to this but I was of the understanding that the chrome surrounds are simply held on by adhesive and can be pulled off (wheeey).

Is there any give in them if you lightly pull at them?

I tried earlier to pull them off and they feel really solid, I think they are stuck as I tried to like pry them off gently and it was like a sticky pad behind them. I would have removed them but knowing my luck they wouldn't stick back on haha! Do they only come forward out of the bumper then? As in a I can't take the bulb from behind the unit?

Only by removing the front bumper.

A guide on how to do this can be found here: http://forgemotorsport.co.uk/media/DS3int.pdf

Awesome, so that appears there is like a removable flap or something that let's you access them without taking off the bumper?

I also gave them a tint. You can do it by removing the upperside of the frontbumper, what takes max 20 minutes. Or you can access them from under the car, but that's not so easy.
