  • What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this is, why it's not in the plastic tube anymore and if that's a problem. Since my car came back from the dealer it pulls lots better than before. Is it because this is disconnected? There is also no more oil on the gaps of my dumpvalve. Thank you

The tube with sensor is normally attached inside the tube where the arrow is pointing at. Now it was outside the tube.

Not a clue, unless the dealer simply forgot to re-connect it when they were done working on it?

That is the heating element for the side PVC tube that is plastic welded into the turbo intake pipe. It is to keep the water vapour in the pvc line from freezing when it enters the intake air tube. If it is hanging loose then there is a hole in the intake that is letting unfiltered air into the turbo and your PVC line is now venting to atmosphere which is why there is no longer oil on blow off valve adaptor. Unfortunately it is not a separate part but comes as part of the intake tube. Unless you can find a way to glue it back on will need a whole new intake tube

If I understand well and I close the gap in the tube, I have a similar thing as a pvc delete?

                          Thanks

There are 2 pvc tubes that one and one on the back of the valve cover drivers side. Unfortunately yours is the wrong one for the delete. The consensus is moving away from the idea of capping off the back line anyway and installing a duel catch can system ideally or just leaving the back alone and a catch can on the side pvc line.
