front wiper motor problem

Hi

Just this second joined. Hello everyone. Got a d sport in yellow 2010 its a very nice car. The reason I am asking this question is I seem to have a problem with the front wiper arms. If its raining, you switch the stalk to intermittent, the wipers work fine as well as single speed and second speed,but on putting them onto the fast speed the wiper arms go across half way and stop. if you set the stalk back to intermittent,or first speed or second speed the wipers go back to working fine. could this be a relay problem or a motor problem?

Would guess more relay contacts myself. But only a guess

Sounds like to me it's could be either an issue in the fuse board of the car, a fault on the wiper motor or the Fixed Stop wire is malfunctioning. Best advice would be to have your dealer run a diagnostic check to find out for sure.

Hi thanks for that . It seems to be a nice day today so I'm going to look around the engine compartment for loose wires, ill try and look for the fuse and relay. If no sign of anything I'll have to book it in.but thanks for the ideas. Bigfeet and chris, blue.
