    Service 1 or 2

    Does anyone know whether a 25k service is service 1 or service 2, as I'm getting conflicting stories from different dealers. The difference seem s to be the fuel filter replacement which adds about £80. The service book indicates that the fuel filter doesn't need changing until 40k.

    So this is where it get confusing, plus I have little trust in them not to rip me off.

    Service 1 is I think when at 12.5k miles or after a year.

          Mine is a 62 plate 110 HDI

            Being a '62' plate your Service interval is 12,500 miles or 1 year for the diesel so that means that the 25k Service is service number two.
