Overheated

Wife's car overheated and has been recovered...AA man said its a temp sensor...Is this a known problem?

my temp sensor had to be changed a few weeks ago. I've heard a few other people have had the same problem.

She's been given a Fiesta till it's fixed...but worrying that it could be a common problem

I think it's more to do with the quality of the part manufactured for Citroen, normally these sorts of things are recorded in the back ground for which the Marque will use when contracts are renewed.

Hopefully she will hear from the Dealer today...but the Fiesta is surprisingly good TBH..so no rush

Update:
New sensor ordered and fitted
Gets the car back this lunchtime
Promised phone calls from Evans Halshaw, Bradford , never happened, so she had to do all the chasing!!!
A plus though........."If you want it for lunchtime Madam...We wont be able to wash it!"

I make them write on the paperwork and circle it "do not wash"
I Dont spend hours detailing to then collect it coverd in swirl marks!
