Mine's about 440 miles to a tank with about 50% stop start London driving (with little traffic) and 50% motorways. It's a pretty disappointing result actually. My theory is that the low engine power means you end up actually using more fuel getting the car up to speed.
Not too bothered, I give it back in two years and get a proper engine.

      It's not dust, it's art

Anyway you want to see what these guys did to my roof.

Hope it wasn't like what the Ostrich did to mine last year

Jeez, I bet someone regretted the curry the night before.

It's not too bad, I'll be taking care of it in the morning, although there's excrement on my bonnet and it looks a lot like a nugget of rotten banana. Yuck!

From the lack of beading on your roof, someone hasn't waxed in a while? Wax is a major help in the fight/prevention against bird stain etchings which, if left, are extremely hard to remove without a machine polish.

Get it beading like this, courtesy of my roof this morning

Two weeks now, and I don't think I'm going to be able to wash it for at least another week.

Well my roof is 3 weeks and that is just Sonax BSD on top of Sonax Hybrid NPT. Think you need a better LSP Richard?

Just under 300 miles with just under half a tank gone

Filled up last night, drove 130ish miles, range was showing 522. Impressed! (This was thanks to roadworks and an average speed on my 180 mile journey of 39mph... but still...)

Well went back this morning and the beautiful British weather had washed it all off

On mine you press the stalk for the dial and it switches between miles driven/remaining

I've been getting 70mpg from Shell nitro diesel. Just tried BP Ultimate diesel and getting 74mpg.

Are the petrol tank figures using the 1.6vti, 1.6THP or 1.4vti engine?

Well for reference mind's neither. I'm using the 1.2 VTi.

I've filled up again and I'm getting much much better figures now. I'll report back after FCS.

Question, how did you get your mileage and reg on your receipt?
