2nd service coming up!

Does anybody know roughly what my 2nd service will cost me, and also what work is usually carried out?

Don't know about cost, but if you look in your Maintenance & Warranty Guide you'll see what the service entails.

So after a phone call to citroen, the service cost is £295.02!!
In my service book it was done at 11,734 and says next service 24,234 which is what its virtually at now.
In the service book its due Routine service as the 1st stamp was its Annual. Feel like im being robbed and still confused on if it actually does need the main big service. ? :confused:

I was told the only difference between the 1st and 2nd service was the addition of changing the fuel filter

Apologies if I've asked before but if you bought the car from new are your services not free for 35,000 miles or 3 years whichever comes first ?

Free servicing isnt/wasnt an option on all vehicles purchased new

Ahhh man!! Nope i brought the car from a garage 2yrs old, it was through a motability scheme previously then sold to the garage who i then brought it off. Citroen said as it was serviced at 13k and hadnt been done between then and now it was due the bigger service at 25k, as its only at 24k now they said may aswell fo the bigger one. It needs to go in for warrenty work anyway as the exhaust bracket has gone so will need new exhaust or welding somehow and also get an intermitant high pitch noise from the front of the car when accelerating which the frequency changes as the revs increase!? Hope it all gets done on the day as i hare being without my car

When I bought mine in July 2010 it was a £199 option.
