C- screen

If i replace my crappy a screen with a c- screen will the c- screen work correctly?will it show my parking sensors?

Not necessarily! I have done exactly as you are proposing. The screen has to be programmed to show various functions using Lexia or Diagbox. For example, the screen C screen I fitted showed bluetooth, the reversing graphic as these presumably been in the car from whence it came. My dealer reprogrammed the screen to get rid of the bluetooth (as I don't have it in the car) and programmed the "eco" screen as my car has stop-start. Hope this helps and yes it is good idea to do the swap.

I think the best way to illustrate the point is by looking at the owners handbook where they refer to Type "A" and Type"C". Essentially the latter is a better quality screen as fitted to DS3 cars with bluetooth, hi fi systems etc rather the more lowly Type A which is fitted to bog standard DSign and DStyle

I totally didn't even clock that it'd be possible to change the screens... I had the C-screen in my Pug and it's the only thing I miss about it! Definitely gonna have to look into this...

My bog standard DStyle has the C screen. It must be standard now as they come with blue tooth etc.
