Paint chips - yellow DS3

Hi All, apologies if there is a similar thread elsewhere but I couldn't find it!

I've noticed a few chips on my front bumper and bonnet they aren't too bad but it's the fact I know the chips are there. What would everyone recommend I could get to touch these up myself? I've heard of chipex, is that any good?

Another thing, I have no idea what my paint code is for "sport yellow". I've found the little thingy on the passenger door but I have no idea which number/letter combination is the code! Help!

Aha! Thanks! Someone told me my code was KAS but I didn't believe them. Oops!

Where could I buy a chip repair kit? I've tried Halfords but no luck. I'm skeptical about purchasing online as you never know what you'll get...

Personally if you want a touch up paint kit I'd order it from Citroen, one of the owners of the forum WTF used a chip repair paint a while back I think, I'll see if I can get her to pop in here

I agree but dont use the small brush that is supplied with the paint. Uses far too much paint.

Get some light brown masking tape and roll into a point; apply a drop from the brush onto a piece of paper (so it's like an easel) and touch point of masking tape onto easel and use this as your applicator

Hi Sarah, my local citroen had my black paint stick in stock with primer for about £6/7 They got the red in within 3 hours!

Hi Sarah. I had to order mine from the parts department at my local Citroën garage. Took about 2 days to arrive and cost around the sixish quid mark.

Mine had to order the black pen in but it came within a day or so and was similar price to Andy's

6 quid isn't bad at all! I thought I'd be looking at about £30 for some reason.
