  • Scuffed allow and damaged tyre!!

So I was driving through a width restriction yesterday and anticipated it wrongly and I ending up hitting the curb.

I think the split is too deep to leave, so off to the workshop tomorrow for a replacement :/ not happy[emoji35]Click image for larger version

Yeah I know [emoji30] just thankful it wasn't the bumper, I guess. The scuff on the alloy isn't as bad tbh.

Tyre is probably a write off, as looks like alot of damage to the side wall of the tyre. Best to get it replaced than to risk it. Last thing you want is a blow out while on a motorway.

If the cord isn't showing it can be glued, but I'd personally get it replaced and keep it as a spare if the tread is good.

A quick update, went down to workshop, the tyre split isn't major and hasn't gone down to the cord so I can super glue it but I've ordered a new one just to be in the safe side and keeping the old one for a spare [emoji1]
