Got my family company to replace and fix it, so should be done by the time I've finished college.

I've been told in the past that the screw is too close to the edge of the tyre for that to be repaired....

Yeah that's what the guy said to me when taking it off, he said it might have to be a new tyre :/

Sounds to me like someone was trying to make themselves a bit of money, ive had much worse repaired.

I thought the same Sean but did a bit of research and plenty of tyre centres cite structural damage to the tyre with an object being that close to the edge. I'm sure you can persuade some places to repair them but I decided I didn't want to be sweating bullets on the repair when driving along a motorway.

I had a tyre blow out on my first DS3 on the M25 and I wouldn't want to go through that again

I've already bought a new tyre about a week ago :/ set me back £90 for the energy saver :/ so I really don't want to buy a new one. It's the bloody builders at college atm. No doubt in my mind it's one of their nails.
