Came home from work today and noticed in my rear view that my back window looked scraped. Checked it and of course with my luck it is - no idea how. But does anyone know if you can remove scratches from glass? You can feel them with your nail but they aren't really deep - does it look like a possible cat scratch? No?

They can be removed with a machine polisher and the right pads and compounds. Never done it myself though, so don't know what you need.

Jewellers rouge is ideal for this type of thing I used to use it when i worked in a jewellesr to polish off scratches on{expensive} watch glass i used to start with Duragrit {sic} and then fine polish it with the rouge really good way of polishing the scatches by hand without out being akin to using sandpaper lolStupidity built in at no extra cost

In my early 20's, was so proud of my Ford GT Capri, was always cleaning it
One really frosty Sunday morning , went to wash it as you do, and decided to use an old metal number plate to clear the frost
Great- scratches all down the glass windscreen, good job was passenger side. Never did get the scratches out, but made them less noticeable
So, either someone has scratched your car, or maybe you reversed into an unseen brick overhang and made the scratches before you realised
(Ive done that too)
Polish and elbow grease as said. But they will never disappear imosigpicJog on Noddy
