i agree with Rabid tilt the mirror down and do like I do and park a foot from the kirb , I also got wheel and tyre protection from Citroën when I bought my stormtrooper , 5 new tyres and 10 wheel refurbs over 3 years
Tilt the mirror down only works for the rears obvs
Leaves 2 others to be careful about
If I'm parking next to a kerb I usually get close as I can with my back wheel and then full lock my front until it touches.... but this is only so I can park as far away from the car next to me
In hindsight, do what i do to protect the alloys and tilt the passenger wing mirror glass slightly downwards with the remote on the drivers door. Also rear parking sensors will not detect kerbs.

That's one thing I love about the Z4. When you hit reverse the wingmirror drops down so you can see then goes back up after. <3
