  • Can I get MP3 track names to show on display?

    Hi,

The missus has just bought a DS3 and I can't get the mp3 track names to show on the display! I can press list and see the folders and tracks, but as soon as select track it reverts back to just mp3 and track time!

Is there any way to have the track showing all the time?

There is or at least must be as mine does but I have to enter sure the ID3 tags are formatted correctly.

      Thanks.

The disc was burned in windows format. I can see the track and album names when I press list, it's just I can't seem to get the unit to display the track names all the time!

I'll try and take a peek when I get in the car tomorrow. I think you can cycle through display to change it.

If you are using a MP3 CD then you won't see the track names, the titles are only displayed with use of the USB stick.

I can see the track names, I just can't get them to stay on! I have to press list and then press up / down buttons to select track.

On the old c4 picasso head unit it used to show the tracks as they played.

Anyone help with this? Once I navigate to track the display reverts back to mpg or date after a few seconds.

There must be a way to set it to show track names all the time!

Depends which screen you have I think but if you press Mode it should cycle through the different display modes. One of them should show track names IIRC.

Think if I remember correctly you have to use the mode switch to change over the display

Will have another go! I have no trouble getting it to display track or folder, but it won't stay in that mode, it reverts back to trip info or day / date!!

Yeah that sounds like you need to work through the mode options then as already mentioned above That changes what the screen displays on mine
