  • Anyone fitted a double din touchscreen before?

    Just wondering if anyone has fitted a double din in a Ds3? If so any guides

      The only way you can do this is to change the dashboard over to the Sat-Nav version, but I have no idea if the size it offers would accommodate a double DIN - maybe someone could measure the size for you?

        That would not work as the area behind the screen is very shallow. I would guess that it would go where the radio and little shelf is( after cutting it away)along with fabricating brackets to hold it all and would have to modify the surround to accommodate everything. There was a pic of something like this I think out of the Japan. Anyone remember that? or am I just getting old?

          Did have the same thoughts that where the screen is that there would not be enough depth.

            Yah the screen is only about an inch thick tops.

              Because the original sat-nav doesn't have the local maps, the authorized dealership installed a local version that they programed and fitted perfectly with all car functions. 0 malfunctions and because it has been installed by the dealer I have no warranty worries.
