iphone holders that fit into the CD player.

Guy's has anyone ever used one of these holders? If so what are the downsides other than meaning the CD is out if action? On the face of it they seem like a rather good (& cheap) solution to the age old problem of phone storage.

Looks like it will be pretty close to the gear knob

I would have concerns over the pressure it would place on the CD slot on the player and if the holder touches the laser lens.
