  • Lowering the DS3, colour DS and Citroen badges

Hi everyone, just brought a 1.6 Dsport DS3 thp a few weeks ago and I absolutely love the car already, but I'm looking to start making the car my car, could anyone give me some advice on lowering the car, changing the colour of the front grill badge and read DS badge and any other things that you can help us with ?

Lowering is a very subjective term. What exactly are you after low budget, mainly looks bit more sporty while not to harsh, mild lowering springs down to 35mm. lower and you will look good but start impacting ride more. More cash - coilovers, adjustable to exactly how you want it to sit and more sporty ride better handling better turn in less body roll. Even more cash coilovers with adjustable dampers (to be honest most people never even mess with the adjustment after playing around a little so be sure of what you want before springing for extras). Doubt you want or need to spend even more for double adjustable dampers.

As for colouring the badges I would go plastic dip. Haneng18 just posted pics of doing his black http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....Dip-DS3-Emblem
