  • Nice and tidy subwoofer setup???

    Hey guys.
Looking to get a bit of bass in my ds3.
Starting looking at subs and amps today.
    Has anyone used this kind?

Had a pioneer unit in a Renault 5 turbo back in the early 90s. Best sub / amp / crossover combination I ever had.

If you've not had the opportunity then try and listen to one of these before you buy - in my experience car audio shops will generally be more than happy to do this.

Similar to what WTF has in hers.

Are you planning on replacing the headunit too or using the existing wires?

If you're replacing the headunit you'll also want to look at purchasing a connects2 adapter so that you can retain functionality of the stalk controls.

There's a couple of guides on how to do this already, here:

            Without an aftermarket headunit:

I have a 300W InPhase Subwoofer going into mine, I have it in my boot atm but not wired up! It's an active subwoofer about the size of a dinner plate, amazing sound from such a small unit!

Does anyone know if the stick radio has rca lead ports?
Or do I need a radio change?

It doesn't, you can get a high/low line level converter and splice the wires at the back of the headunit or you'll need to replace it.
