    Removing Sat Nav

    Can anyone tell me if I remove the factory fit sat Nav control unit and replace it with an after market head unit, will the screen still work and display mpg and clock etc? With the correct leads would I also be able to access the menus?

    I don't think it's possible, the screen is powered by the OEM head unit I believe. If you replaced it you would lose all functionality.

    As far as I know the Connects2 leads only allow the stalk controls to be used on the new head unit.

      Fit mini iPad in place of myway screen and connect via aux/Bluetooth to a new head unit...
