Any clever folk have Samsung mirror link working on the new touchdrive interface?

So, when I first got the car new, the only compatible phones were galaxy s3's and iPhone 4's, I checked the site today and it seems they've updated it now so that the newer galaxy models are compatible.

Does anyone know if you have to update the actual car interface? Or how? Apologies if it's in the handbook, but that's at home and I'm at work.
