  • Monitoring fuel Consumption

Hi, I have just brought a 2012 DS3 Sport Plus and cannot work out how to zero the monitoring display on the MyWay
screen. The manual says to see the monitoring section but that gives no information.
I would like to zero them because I want to know what figures I am getting, not the guy who owned it before me!

    Any ideas

push and hold the button on the end of the stalk for the turn signals and it will reset.

Press the button on the end of the right stalk to cycle through them. When on Trip 1 or Trip 2, press and hold the button for 3+ seconds and it should reset that trip.

i know this will sound a bit geeky but i have kept a record of all the miles and fuel i have used since i got the car and you should get on average depending on how you drive between 50 and 55 miles per gallon

Brilliant, have just tried it and it worked a treat.
We were expecting to get between 50 & 55 to the gallon. That is what the previous owner got.

          Thanks guys

Not geeky at all, I use Fuelly to track mine.

If its anything like mine (vti 120 petrol) your trip computer is lying to you.

I keep a record of fuel consumption per tank full, based on filling the tank every time, and it consistently works out less than the car's computer says.

Records are at home but, form memory something like 37 or 38 mpg vs 36 actual.

(I know - mpg doesn't look good, but I mainly drive short trips - eg home to work = 5 miles - and only cover about 6k miles a year)

Did a straight trip from the midlands toward essex, no hold ups along the way. The mpg reading along the route topped out at 106mpg, bottomed out at 61mpg, the actual mpg for the trip was 76mpg.

I am a very economical driver. Noticed too the tank moved just one notch for 109 miles travelled. Not bad!
