Hello, I have a 2010 DS and over time have updated the maps and firmware all free of charge.
Navigate your way to GPSUnderground

Look for your exact nav system and follow the instructions.

I cant remember exactly but ultimately you will download a program plus the data onto an SD card then run the prog.
*As a point, and in the case of my system, you may need a larger SD card than the one provided by Citroen, this is to do with the data not being compressed, but a fiver for all the latest maps (UK and Eur) isn't much to ask. Plus with mine the latest maps/firmware opened up speed cam detection and a funky new startup screen.

Hello everyone I'm new to the site. I just updated my satnav for my 2013 DS3 Dsport Cabrio, but not for free I used the citreon website. The update was extremely simple!

I plugged in thumb drive with extracted media (unzipped) turned the car on and it read the thumb drive straight away.

Select what map to upgrade then use the volume button to get to the upgrade icon.

It took about 15mins to upgrade, and now I can put in the full 6 digit UK post codes.

How much is the update? Not having postcode search is ridiculous.

You could have got it for free from the site I linked to but it's your choice.
I just plugged in my SD card and did the same. Sod paying £70 a year and £6.99 every few months.

Kk, have a look at gps underground anyway, there are some nice hacked startup screens and software around for various cars, plus a very knowledgable forum.

I thought the later versions of the software included with new DS3s had the full seven digit search for postcodes ?
