Controlling iPod without the usb port?

i've got the Monochrome A screen and only an aux port (no usb ) is there anyway i can get my iPod linked up so that it both charges through my car and is controllable via the wheel controls?

i've noticed this USB adaptor thing from Citroen but thats an extortionate price! plus i don't have the usb port so don't think it would work?

The USB adaptor can be got at a sensible price.............talk to John Nicol, other than that your into aftermarket products

The USB box is the Citroen way and as John said it not that expensive.

The other option is to fit an after market set up, but I would hazard a guess that would be more expensive anyway.

does it require the usb port though? or is it hard wired in? if its the latter it may be worth the extra cash.

The USB adaptor pulg into the rear of the radio head unit, it give you one usb socket, one dedicated Ipod port and a 3.5mm audio in socket, and yes it will charge an Ipod
