Different displays on different models?

Just a quick one, I have noticed that a lot of people have different displays on the dashboard to the one I have. (mine seems a lot more basic).
I was wondering if anyone knows why this is (different model, age of model?)
This is the one that isn't in my car, I couldn't find an image of the one in my car.

Not too sure why they did this, but I have the same Monochrome A screen that you have. The one pictured is the monochrome C screen. They will both work in our cars, someone has posted a guide how to do it. http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....o-monochrome-C.
