Mount Touchscreen in older ds3?

Is it possible to retrofit the touchscreen from newer ds3 to one of the newer head units with touch and mirror screen?
Been googling a lot but can't find out anything about where to buy new original ds ds3 head unit. My DS3 is a 2012 model

Yes, you can. Is it cost effective? Not even a little bit. Make sure you're sitting down when you ask the dealer how much.

Yes it is possible, i did it...
Wiring has to be changed and you'll need a new bezel, etc. It's also not cost effective, unless you can get one from an accident.
