Entertainment System - CarPlay Upgrade

Hello @ all!

I am new here and I come from Germany.
Because you're a real fan club I thought this would be the best community to get help!

I bought a DS3 in October 2015... the car is from October '14.
I think the Entertainment System is the MyWay because I have the 7' inch Screen without Touchscreen.

Now I have an iPhone aswell and I am really interested in Apples CarPlay. Is there any opportunity to upgrade my car without buying a new one?


I hope you can help me.. and sorry if my english is not as good as yours.

I think Apple Car Play was an option that the car dealer had to activate. I am not sure about how to do it after purchase, but somebody will be here with more knowledge soon!

Your vehicle won't support the CarPlay system as you have the wrong screen in your car.

You can upgrade the screen in theory, but it is not at all cost effective. Looking at thousands probably.

Is there any opportunity to update the system?
My system does not like my usb stick... always it tells me: unable to read.

USB stick cannot be more than 32GB or it will not read all the files.

Must be formatted to FAT32.

I think it reads MP3, WAV, and possibly AAC file types, so no FLAC or MP4.

The stick I tried had 4GB and I only used MP3 files.
It has been formatted to FAT32...

I'd suggest trying a different USB that's been freshly formatted before taking to Citroen to save any potential embarrassment.
