I've lost all my car little pixs on the touch screen.

Just downloaded the latest software for my 65 plate in the hope of loosing the useless BT interweb thingi and in the process have lost all my little pix of the car either it reverse, light modes or door open graphics! Anyone have any idea how to get them back. What I have noticed you cannot go backwards with the software. I've tried the factory reset that's not worked either.

You've not specified what system you have but I remember on the MyWay you used to be able to add your own themes by changing the pictures on certain folders.

Where did you get the software from? Is it official from Citroen/DS?

When you say "software" what are you meaning, firmware or an ECU update?

In regards to the firmware you did check to make sure it's compatible with your system?

I guess you're talking about a smeg or smegiv2 ?
Some updates (the latest smegiv2 and the second to last for a smeg) remove those little pictures. You'll have to reconfigure the unit using lexia. But then again, you'll need dealership access to citroen to program these units.
So a trip to the citroen dealer it is. No way without them to get it back.

Went to Pentagon Citroen Oldham for help. Booked the car in for apple carplay to be installed but they could not do it. How ever they did to 2 recalls still without the little pics. Does anyone know who can install apple carplay or downgrade the firmwear? Oops forgot the smeg is smegiv2 on my car. Latest version is 6.3.C.R11 and they need to reprogram it using automatic configuration and then go into manual to activate carplay and mirrorlink.

This is where the problem lies I have 6.3.D.R6 installed (27-10-16) later found out that this is the firmwear for a C3 Citroen. Cannot go backwards! Have a dongle with 6.3.C.R11 but like I said cannot go backwards, does anyone know how to go around it?

I wanted to give you an update on the problem that I had. Well, I went to Pentagon Citroen, Oldham who are has much use as a 'Chocolate Fireguard' after waiting from 8.30am until 4.40pm hours told me it was 'crap' and my DS3 was not compatible and could not have it but, they did the 100 point check which I never asked for, then informed me of 2 product recalls that was on my car. I didn't inform me what the recalls were and then a few days later when I get a online survey to how my visit to Citroen was got very upset because I gave them negative feedback. Okay the good news is I now have Apple play and I also have my little car pics back and it was nothing to do with the dealership.

I found online a brilliant guy called Dave who did it for me. I gave him the VIN number and within a few minutes told me if I could have it or not (if firmwear starts with a 6 is good) The cut and short of it is this evening have got the latest DS3 firmwear and also 'apple play' connected and the car pixs are back :-):cool: :cool: :cool:

My new best mate and Citroen Geek is Dave from Wakefield. He will sort it out if you want apple play or mirror link for your DS3 contact him on 07803 260 138 with your VIN Number and he will tell you if you can have it switched on. £60 with €40 goes to Citroen for activation for your Vin. Also can do any other software issues you may have.

Just come back from Wakefield using the apple 'maps' app it was fab, phone is brill and if you ask Siri anything on the maps app he/she will give you all the info you need just like on your phone!
