It's not DAB, no. To my knowledge the option isn't available either.

i checked on the configurator and couldnt see any options was hoping it was just not mentioned

You could get one of these. I have one (but not a DS3 yet). The mount's a bit crap but I'm going to try alternatives when I get my DS3. Also I've yet to look at the antenna situation for DAB.

It's very good, you do not need the FM transmitter as you can feed it to the aux port. If you want to hear Talksport or Radio 5 not sounding like it's coming from inside a cardboard box it's a must. Also great if you don't like the endless pop crap spewing from the usual collection of dire commercial stations. A good selection of alternatives available: jazz, classic rock etc,.
