  • HTC 7 Mozart Issues

    Hi,

My company took away my BlackBerry and gave me this HTC smartphone. The B/berry had communicated perfectly with my DSport (no MyWay) but it won't connect Bluetooth with the HTC (tho' it says it knows it's there) nor will it recognise that anything is connected to the USB when the HTC is plugged in

Another reason to dislike the HTC but I don't want to dislike my lovely DS3. Any ideas?

    Many thanks.

Have you checked the phones settings to make sure it's setup to share things like the phonebook & audio etc over the Bluetooth connection?

I myself have a HTC Mozart, it will connect using bluetooth both for Hands Free and also Audio Streaming. If your having a problem try deleting and phones you currently have stored in your Citroen Stereo and initiating the pairing from the HTC instead of from the Citroen.

The USB: Unfortunately connecting it via USB will not work as the HTC Mozart uses WP7 there is no "Mass Storage" mode (unless you go into the firmware settings and make changes...a quick google may help you with this). The Mozart only supports connection through the Zune software unless these changes are made (not sure how work will take you making changes to their phones ! )...

        Hope this helps.

I've had loads of HTC phones and not had a problem with any connecting, seems strange, again as said before delete previous paired devices and start again.
I couldn't fix yer brakes so I made your horn louder!

Are you receiving a pairing failed message? If so then there is a security issue at fault where the phone is denying access so check the security setting to see if allow remote sim is on or if you need to authorise the DS3 for pairing.
