Hey guys basicly got the headunit out easily to find different connections i was kind of star struck when i seen these after having quite alot of experience with headunit's.

so do i need togo halfruads or is there somthing im missing? thanks,

My understanding is that the standard head unit uses ISO plugs but from the first picture I take it the new unit uses something else?

It is a total guess, really, but are those maybe the gubbins for the parking sensors, aux in and other stuff that is controlled through the stereo (follow me home lights and such).

I remember being told I would lose these functions if the head unit is changed so wonder if that is all the extra block is.. The other block looks fairly standard.
