Hello guys. I want to change my headunit!
What will I lose?
Can I still use the old usb and aux. Ect ?
Can you still get in the car computer?
Can you still use the steering controls?
Do I need a radio trim thing?

Hi Mylowales,
My advice to you would be to buy a headunit with bluetooth built in as you will loose bluetooth function.
You will also loose your usb..Purchase a headunit with usb connectivity highly recommend sony mex-bt3900u
You will need a connect 2 adaptor & patch lead to use stalk controls which will allow you to access the computer.....Trim will come with your new headunit.

Speakers are unlocked mind lol they are alot louder than using the standard headunit

but yes you lose nearly everything doesn't bother me too much mind defo worth it

Probably as easy as linking a wire lol... let me know if u figure it out mate.

Can you get a rear usb on a headunit

Think you can Mylo but much easier inserting usb stick in the front mate lol.

tHere. Is tht lol tht easy! I like a challenge if I can put ford rs2000 running gear in a triumph spitfire with coill overs on font and back with disc on the rear I think I could try that lol

I got my USB from back of headunit and wire is run into the glovebox. Very easy to do.

I got Kenwood headunit but no Bluetooth as I have parrot but Kenwood KDC-BT61U has everything you need @ £154 maybe be able to get it cheaper if look around.

Radio/CD/MP3/WMA/AAC.
Parrot Bluetooth with A2DP streaming
Direct Ipod/Iphone
Rear Auxillary and USB
3 x Preouts. 4x50w.
SWRC
Rear wired external microphone
On/off Hook Feature
