  • Aftermarket stereo to replace myway nav.

Hi guys. I'm contemplating replacing the rneg stereo with an aftermarket head unit in my 2011 DStyle. Clearly I'm going to lose the sat nav function and Bluetooth, but from what I've read, I can keep the parking sensors and stalk functions with the right connects2 adapter. Will I lose the display completely, or will the fuel consumption still show on screen?

You'll lose the screen, you will need to install a monochrome a or c screen with the correct dashpanel if you want any screen funtionality.
The rneg 7" screen is powered by the radio, not the car.

Thanks. Is the smaller screen a straight swap (obviously with the dash panel). Just thinking for the future when i come to sell.

Don't know, the panel and the screen itself is. But don't know if the connector for the screen will be there. You can always put some wires in from the bsi to the screen. It is possible and will work.
