good morning, is there anyone on this forum who has Lexia and can turn this function on in the lancs or yorks area or if there is any way to do it without Lexia please

You will definitely need Lexia to do this. I live in Lincolnshire not far from Skeggy if it was any good to you and I have Diagbox/Lexia .

A little bit too far, but thanks so much, I rang my local Citroen dealer but they had no idea, there’s a Citroen/Peugeot specialist about 10 miles away, what do you have to do under Lexia

Over the years I have come to conclusion based on first hand experience, that most dealers are a bit clueless when it comes departing from the norm. My local dealer had 3 attempts at programming the CD changer option on my DS. I got so fed up that I bought the kit myself. I was able to swap the Type A screen over to a Type C, activated the rear parking graphic the screen and of course the CD changer option. There are two elements to programming a) the dealer has to go into the radio (RD4) option and show that it is present and b) they need to show that a CD changer is present in the display option otherwise you will not get the CD option when you scroll through the source options. Nice one, I think I agree as far as local currency dealer, hopefully the independent specialist might do better, I've swapped the screens over and bought a bluetooth and usb adaptor, I was hoping the option would already be turned on but no, hence why needing to be programmed
