Sat Nav Speedcam

I have just had the new software downloaded from the dealer on my DS3 & the speedcam milage come up in the correct format of MPH instead of the 19, 25 & 31. it takes less than an hour. They have to request the cd rom from Citroen UK. I'm happy now.

Which version of the RNEG software is it?

Sorry its taken me a long time to reply, been busy. The software is:- SWR33B (33.09) from the CD 1608326280.

I bought the updates from the site [citroen.navigation.com] a couple of weeks ago and they still come up with the wrong speeds for me, for peoples infomation. Booked into the dealer at the weekend for some new pads and discs (25k, does that sound about right?!) and asked them to take a look using Lexia but don't hold out much hope as they didn't know much about it. moosa, can you elaborate any further how they fixed it?

Oh and first post for me, had my Dsport 110 (2010 60 plate) for a couple of weeks now, love it!

If you have the MyWay in your DS3 then you don't have a Plus model

Its not the updated maps and camera warnings it is updates for the, guess you could call it, operating system for the My Way.

I see, this clears things up quite a lot. Is there anywhere to download/buy the updated firmware online? I am running R27, so I need R33 and the speed cameras will be all ticketyboo?

Should be that was one of the published issues addressed by the new (Firmware)

-Various Bluetooth malfunctions (Incompatibility with certain telephones, loss of the Bluetooth twinning on starting a telephone call, poor sound quality)
-"UNKNOWN" is shown instead of the name of the caller when receiving a call
-Under-estimation of the radar speeds for vehicles with the speed unit in miles
-In Latin America only, restarting of the audio-navigation system (RNEG) following a request for navigation in "Demo" mode
-In navigation mode : Cursor stuck on the GPS mapping, The cursor on the GPS mapping does not reflect the actual position of the vehicle

-Random loss of audio adjustments after starting the engine
-Random loss of audio sound after starting the engine
-Interference in the loudspeakers after starting the engine
-Multifunction screen randomly going yellow

-The telephone directory, or the history, of calls made from the radio-navigation system RNEG is no longer visible on the multifunction screen

Best thing is to speak with your dealer about updating the Firmware.

Other option is that there are *cough* websites which load up the software, word of warning though is that you run the risk of 'buggering up' your system if your not careful.

Thanks. Was hoping to be able to do it myself as no doubt a bit cheaper than going through the dealer (I've bought a nice glossy black knob from the dealer to replace my seriously worn leather one, set me back £50!) but not willing to bugger it up through dodgy downloads so will pay a visit to them tonight.
