i would recommend that you go back to the dealer with the car and let them check it out.. You cant do anything with your car without ruining the warranty.

Morse codes noises? Thats the sort of thing a mobile phone causes when it's sending or receiving packet data from the network.

      Is it like this?

Thats the type of thing BF although when its not sending 'morse code' there is just a 'hiss' coming through speakers like you have tried to find a radio station and it has stopped between stations - and all this while radio is turned OFF. Only started yesterday and had car since Nov with no probs. Wife took it out today and left HTC mobile phone at home and no probs so maybe its an issue with the phone although cant think why its suddenly started. Will get hre to dis and then reconnect phone to bluetooth and see if that makes any difference.

As you said that the problem wasn't present when your mobile was at home it's more than likely going to be that.

It's caused by the radio transmitter pulsing (sending/receiving data) being picked up by the circuitry in the car and being sent through your speakers in the simplest sense.

If you want to test this theory further, take the phone with you and get someone to call you. Try the same thing but place this closer to any of the electrics in the car; speakers, radio, dashboard. My guess is that it's going to be louder the closer it is due to the amplification of the signal between the wires and the phones.

If it's really a problem, turn the volume up on your stereo. you did buy a Citroen after all
