  • Reputable car audio specialist?

Anyone got experience with a North Western audio installs specialist?

I'm looking to buy the following for my DS3 and was wondering on whether or not the old sub could be removed and the JL put in its place..

What are your plans for the boot mate? I can't get a good look at the subwoofer as I dint have the car yet should be Monday before I can make some decisions, I really want to go stock as possible as I want to avoid voiding warranty through obvious mods. Do you reckon that the jl 6" would keep up with the likes on a heavy jungle track, or would it be better suited to modest pop/chart bass music?

This is my car in standard form, these pictures show various stages of the build. Next few days i will be sound deadening the car, doors, bonnet, floors and boot. cross overs will be mounted under the glovebox. We will be making a a pillar build with a very clever never done before addition.........
I have added some dynamt to the door card itself just to help stiffen it. I have also carpeted the inside of the door card to help the sound quality. costs sod all but makes a huge sound difference. Two amplifiers and 2 x 10 " subs to be fitted.
Ive ordered a drl to wire up into the boot build, i fancy carrying this feature of the car to the install, it should also light up my install quite nicely.

i know this is a bit nerdy but here goes, as i have changed the radio in my ds i tend to use the ipod connector i fitted into the glovebox, i did however need the aux input for a tablet i use, Problem is the aux in is on the back of my radio and i HATE wires on show.I made a cable up to sit between my new radio and the ds plug, this now means my original socket in the centre console works with my new radio. no wires cut and no damage done.
