Agree with Cyclone the cost of an original doesn't cost the earth! Bear in mind if you go for the C5 GPS aerial then you may suffer with poorer radio reception.

He speaks the truth. I used a original C5 aerial. looks way better but glad I don't listen to much radio.

I bought one for my Boo for her DS3 and when we used it we could hardly pick again up around here, so we just switch it over for the meet in Kent!

That's the Scottish Hills! I left my aerial off for a week after cleaning the car and still got perfect reception on Radio 4 (surely the only station you need)

The normal aerial on the DS3 is designed to work with the equipment the car is fitted with, granted the GPS Aerial of the C5 does look good but is intended for a bi-tunner which is fitted to the C5.

                          (Think I got that right!)

My turn for a Zombie thread resurrection lol

Chris - does the aerial you bought have good reception ? The C5 stubby I have is ok local but on longer journeys there is v poor radio reception, looking for a stubby aerial that still gives good reception.

                              Thanks
