  • Dsport centre speaker

I have a Dsport with the sound system with the central speaker. My problem is that the sound is too focussed on the central speaker, even with music. Despite lengthy searches I can't find any way to turn the volume for that speaker down as i can do with my home AV setup. Does anyone know a way to do this ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

On my Dstyle with hifi pack you can adjust the sound so it will distributed front/back speakers?

    Would that help?

I read someone on here suggest fading the sound towards the rear speakers improves the quality... Might be worth giving that a go?

      N welcome btw...

Edit: Dammit, WTF beat me too it... :P

The centre speaker is design for vocal sounds, personally it adds a huge sound spectrum to the stereo in the DS3.

If it really bothers you just unplug it.

^ True, picking a setting such as Techno or Rock should soften the treble sounds, but it tends to come down to personal taste!

I know they meant by that- shifting it rear by a few notches definitely works and you still get the clear vocals from the dash speaker

^^ Yup. Adjust more to the rear and select techno or jazz/blues. That's what I've done and it sounds miles better.

^ Sounds far too 'muddy' for my ears when you do that.

As I said earlier just have a fiddle and go with what you prefer.

Nice description Aye it can depend on what your listening too and the quality of the file. I have some old mixes that were taken from cassettes (the older guys on here know what that is ) and so they sound a bit "muddy" on some settings.
