Woohoo my mounts finally came!!!!

They finally came after all the faffing on with Brodit being out of stock in the UK and blah blah blah:



For the Xoom after assembly (4 screws)



For the S3 after assembly (4 screws)

Makes it better because I cannow record it in HD via my phone, overlaid with all the data from torque telling me how fast I was when I overtook them, all whilst listening to internet radio, mp3s or I just switch to full on Eurofighter mode and have torque's full readouts on the tablet and speed, and tach showing on my phone

Lovely when parked up- watched a few episodes of the IT crowd earlier on- feels like surround sound going the car sound system. Add to that I can now work in pure abject peace with having to hold onto the tablet. I have even found a nice little hidey hole for my wireless keyboard I connect to it...happy days

those ones are brodit- you should be able to order them for Saudi or there may be a dealer

Never seen them in shops. They clip onto parts of your car and are custom to each vehicle. The one the S3 is on clips around the front strut and the tablet one clips around the dashboard- very very secure and completely steady- zero shake at all from them

I'm so glad you've posted this! I had my iPad mounted in my old car and I'm seriously lost without it in the DS3! I didn't know if the Brodit mounts would hold the weight but clearly they do

Hey Chief,
I notice that your S3 mount has the inclusive charger cable; where have you routed this to for power?

That's not an inclusive cable to the mount, just my own. It goes from under the driver seat under my mat and the up into the recess in the dash (have a look and you'll see) up to the dash and then I have it tucked under the seal and looped behined the mount.

I was going for the typhoon look mate lol. I have actually found an app that turns your display into what looks like a proper HUD (but on screen). Might install it for a laugh and take a pic
