Hi!

To install another Amplifier, anyone know if there is a "Remote" wire in the plug of the amp in boot or if I would have to connect it in the back of the headunit?

Hi I thought it was the pink wire at number 7 has i've fitted a vibe active sub along side the built in one, I've took all my feeds from this plug and i've had it running like this for months without any problems

Did you get the positive connection from the plug also or did you connected in to the battery?

Plug using same size wire has the live in the plug, I thought it would of popped the fuse when I first tried it but not even affected it and i'm running a 1600 watt sub.

I know it's best to run it to the battery I did it that way in my 207's but couldn't be bothered this time and just tried it to see if it would work.

Nice, did you put another fuse in the new connection?

No i didn't i've left it up to the 25amp fuse that runs the amp for the inbuilt sub.

Followed the above instructions and I have my old 12" Edge active sub up and running! The only annoying thing is that the plug hasn't got a lot of movement so it was a pita to wire the sub up.

same here, just got my vibe 12" active sub fitted. there really isnt much room left on the plug when its fitted
