Will i loose the steering controls if i put a sony head unit in?

If i put a headunit a sony one may be different will i lose the controls at the steering wheel ? I have the sot wire loom from halfords so will it all work???

I think you'll need a Connects2 box to keep the functionality of the steering wheel controls.

I think the SOT-040 will just allow you to connect the speakers, not the steering wheel controls. See my above post for a link to the Connects2 box, I'm sure you can get it elsewhere too.
