  • Bluetooth connection with Samsung Galaxy S4

Hi all, so I just tried connecting my new Galaxy S4 via Bluetooth. It connects fine and displays phone directory etc. But when I try and make a call it rings fine and displays the caller fine, but once the other caller answers and sais hello, the call disconnects on both devices! It happens when someone calls me too. This never happened on my Galaxy S2. Any idear's ? Cheers...

Still no luck with this! Has anyone got the new Galaxy s4 and been able to make calls through the car stereo?

Have you 'authorised' the Samsung to connect to the car?

The problem could just be compatibility with your mobile as I take it your previous phone worked ok?

Hi Bigfeet. everything connects as it should. Phone to car/ car to phone. Phonebook display etc. It rings but once the call connects it then disconnects. I have tried everything I can think of. Cant find anything with Google search. I am starting to think there is compatibility issues but that's strange considering they pair ok with bluetooth. Hopefully someone on here will get the Galaxy s4 and figure it out. I just need to know if im doing anything wrong or if everyone with that phone is getting the same trouble. My s2 and my girfriends sony Ericson work fine so it definetly looks to be a problem with the s4 rather then the ds3.

              ^

It does kind of point towards that. Only other option I can suggest is that you pop into your dealer and see if you can try and connect your mobile to another DS3/C3 just to rule out your DS3 being the problem.

Hi. I've got my Galaxy S4 working with my DS3.
Just went through the usual pairing and it worked straight away.
I've got a 61 plate THP155. I know that's not much help, but the phone is definitely compatible. However audio streaming over bluetooth sounds terrible. My old Nokia was much clearer.

Mine works with Racing fine, only sometimes there is no audio at all even if it shows it's connected.

Not a lot of help, but no problems with my HTC One (Android), or Lumia 925 (WP8).

just been to dealer regarding the problem,

If Citroen know about the problem then they haven't said anything to the dealerships, ie no solution
