iPod glitching and distortion

Connected up my ipod via usb the other day and it doesn't seem to play properly.
Randomly, from every few seconds to minutes it will glitch on the playback, a bit like a CD would skip.
I know the ipod and tracks are OK because it plays them fine through another dock at home.
Also some songs come out with a bit of distorted treble occasionally - again doesn't happen at home.

Anybody else had similar issues with and iPod in their DS3?

Yeah mine used to pop and sound distorted, my dealer did some tests and Citroen agreed to replace the head unit with a later model with different firmware (under warranty) was fine after that
